  • We are planing short 2-3 hours shooting in public place of Barcelona on June 4 or 5, where we can have recognizeble object for europiens, gaudi church, etc.. We need pictures and permission to shoot later on. (max 7-10 crew members, no lighting).
    Any suggestions/help?

    Thank you a lot,

    Hi Simona,
Please be aware that you are not allowed to show the Gaudi buildings, unless the shoot is advertising Barcelona, or has somehting to do with art. If it is a commercial or ‘other’ you will find it difficult, if not impossible. There are , however, many other interesting buildings, and features, that you are allowed to film.
Please send more details and perhaps I can help you.

    Hi Simona
There are many places recognizable which does not belong to Gaudi. You can maybe give us more details and we will be glad to help you.

    Dear Simona,

The Barcelona – Catalunya Film Commission can help you to get the permits, once you have decided where you want to shoot. As some our colleagues have told, it’s a delicate issue, because of the Rights of the buildings and depends on what will you do with the imatges, and what are they for.

Please when you have decided the location send us an email to info@bcncatfilmcommission.com and we will inform you about the procedures!

    Hola Simona,

Like someone else says in another reply, the Gaudi buildings are a difficult part in the negotiations, and there are many other buildings to be seen.

The best is to establish a collaboration between us (you and a local producer) and the Catalunya Film Commission. The film commission will collaborate to open doors, but it is us, service production companies and location managers, who have to actually do all the scouting, negotiations, paperwork and services coordination in the end. I am used to deal with the film commission and they are usually very helpful on the side of putting us in contact with the right people at each place to negotiate.

I am available to speak whenever you are ready.
We can skype if you prefer.
Email me at info@bonitasproductions.com and let me know.

Good luck with your project, wether we end up collaborating or not.

    Eva Piqué.

    Hi Simona,
Drop me a line if you still need a local production fixer for your Barcelona shoot. I can send you a resume of my experience.

    Good luck!
