Good morning,
We’ve had a look at the forum post:
We’re looking for an Archive where we can shoot a commercial for a leading newspaper.
For this commercial we need access to an archive (or perhaps a library) in the area (Flanders)
It has to be an old archive, it can even be a bit neglected, but it has to be of substantial size!
and the following archives in Bruges come to our mind:
* archive St.-Sebastiaansgilde: classy house of the ancient city guard or archer’s guild. Many art objects, paintings of important members and/or kings and a lovely garden overlooking the windmills
Carmersstraat 174
8000 Brugge

* archive St.-Jorisgilde / St. George’s Archers Guild: idem, but less classy and exclusive
Stijn Streuvelsstraat 59
8000 Brugge

* City archive: located in the beautiful Liberty of Bruges on the Burg Square
Burg 11
8000 Brugge

* archive guide association Gidsenbond: old house with characteristic sqeaky floors and stairs, but rich library
Kleine Hertsbergestraat 3
8000 Brugge
Hopefully this information proves usefull.
Kind regards,
Sabrina Ide
