    Hello all,

    Thanks you for your reply.

    Let me rephrase the question. How late in the year could we find a luxury chalet with snow + surrounding woods in the Alps or Carpathian Mountains. Sweden and Norway are also of interest depending on what can be found.

    Have you thought of Quebec?
    If it is snow you need and luxurious chalets, there is no end to the avaiable choice at approx. 1 hr from downtown Montreal. We have snow up till april and longer in the mountains.
