  • We are a spanish company Contents Area SLand we have to shoot fa couple of days at Boston and Iowa (Des Moines and surrondings)
It’s a corporate video, and we have to record an interview already arranged, scheduled at he 7th of December in Boston and the 11th of December in Des Moines/ Iowa

That would be a 3 hours work but then the rest of these two days we sould shoot City streets and surroundings trying to get the feeling of the place and its enviroment.
Very light shooting, most from a vehicle, on the road, and maybe some still shots or from a high point of view, looking down to the ground.
We need local crew because only Director, DoP, 1sr AD and producer would travel.
Need location references and scout, permissions, local rental equipments, and transports.

We look for someone at each place, but also could work someone covering both cities.

Could you help us? It’s late so please answer a.s.a.p. Time runs too fast!!!!!

    Hi Marta,

For filming in Boston you might want to contact Lisa at the Massachusetts Fim Commission.
It is ‘thanks giving’ in the USA so most peope are off work untill next week now.

Please contact the Massachusetts Fim Commission by using the Location Guide directory in the menu bar above.

    Good luck,

    Murray

I am a location manager in MA. You can reach me at rightcoastlocations@me.com, or 617.834.7542. Depending on crew size, you may or may not need permits. The City of Boston has strict rules when filming there.

Let me know what you need and I would be happy to help you.

    Marta,

I work for a Boston based Sound Stage Facility Called New England Studios. We are located outside Boston and run (4) 18,000 sq. ft. Stages. Please see our website: http://nestudios.com/

We have an on-site Lighting and Grip Department which is capable of covering any of your location needs. We have 1-ton vans available for small shoots that travel easily in Boston. We can also provide crew referrals and help with any other production needs you have for the Boston area.

Please give me a call or e-mail me, I’d be happy to work up a lighting quote that fits your budget.

    Thanks
