  • Hackney’s Finest is a low budget feature film by Finest Films Ltd. The film is going to be shot in various locations in and around London starting on the 7/2/11

We are looking for a derelict victorian period (or similar) warehouse. There needs to be different rooms within the warehouse, an industrial lift, ideally near some docks or the river. It would be good to have bits of junk laying around as we don’t have much money for dressing. There needs to be a couple of smaller rooms inside that could be old offices.

We also need exterior shots of the warehouse, with fast driving scenes. It should look like a very industrial area, so there are places to hide. Also should be fairly quiet with no loud machines etc, for sound purposes. And great if the exterior has places we could park our cars for free to set up our unit base etc.
The shooting dates for the Warehouse scenes are between 12th April until Monday 4th May
These dates might be tweaked slightly as time progresses.

It would be good if the location is no further than Greater London.

I will attach some photos showing the sort of thing we are looking for.

I look forward to your posts!

    Hi Sophie,
Sounds to me like you should consider getting a location manager involved – you describe quite a specific location and what sounds like involved sequences to be shot (- car chase?!).
Often locations like this will demand you have a location manager on board before they consider your shoot…
The images you include are from a location agency – have you spoken to them about the spaces illustrated in the photos? If these caught your eye you may be lucky to find they answer the entire brief?
Film London might be able to provide you with a list of Location Managers who are available.
    Good Luck.
    Amie
