    i am interested to know if anyone has shot jordan’s desert or viet nam’s desert or
    have any suggestions about where there is easy access to a desert that looks massive and
    middle eastern/persia?

    We have large deserts in the Western India
    Should you be interested we could send you more details
    I am attaching a few pictures for your reference
    Ideal time with lovely weather till Mid-April. After that it may be difficult with extreme heat
    Large number of International shoots have happened here

    This is Linda from the Royal Film Commission- Jordan, we have some spectacular desert locations in Jordan all within relatively close traveling distance. We have the breathtaking desert of Wadi Rum (where Lawrence of Arabia was shot), we also have black desert, white desert and yellow desert. I have attached a few images for your reference.

    Hi,
    We sugget you Tunisia for its fabulous rocky ans sandy deserts. Tunisia was the double for several middle eastern locations, in many famous international productions. “English patient” and “Star wars”, for exemple, were filmed in Tunisia. Tunisia has a variety of landscape, very exeprienced technicians, is near from Europe, Friendly and Cheap !

    Dubai has really excellent desert which is less than an hour from the centre of town and as you’ll see from our showreel we’re desert experts. Dubai has excellent crews and is very economical to shoot.
