  • Hello,

Production team of 2 people need experienced Detroit location scout on the week-end of september 20-21 to scout as many abandoned locations as possible: industrial sites, buildings, train stations, churches and so on… The idea is to get a rather large tour of what the city has to offer when it comes to this kind of location. We will need someone driving us around and clearing locations when need be. Experience in print photography is preferred.

    Feel free to reach out!

    Thanks

    Simon

    Dear Friends,

I am available for a pleasant Detroit location scouting experience September 20 and 21.
Day Rate if possible $250.00, plus gas for car and meals. I can also suggest housing, and what ever else you wish. I will even take you to the delightful Ivanhoe Cafe for Perch Dinner on Friday. Attached are photos.

I recentlly worked as a location producer for Elle Fashion Magazine Detroit shoot , now appearing in the September edition. Managing 40 people , catering, 40′ RV , four tents, security, transportation and what ever the talent wanted.

Last week I worked with a fashion photographer from Dallas, Tx. scouting abandoned factories, a quarter mile long steel mill setting on the Detroit River, an a stripped out Catholic Church. We looked at seven location in 7 hours.

Currently I have been adding stories to my blog – dissolvingdetroit.blogspot.com and continue to document senior gospel singers including perhaps the oldest performing musician in Detroit if not North America. Mr. Kelly Thomas, Age 104.

    Best…
