Which Latin American cities are known for luxury shopping, including name brand jewelry shops, clothing retailers, restaurants, etc? We are looking for this city, especially one that has a Cartier jewelry retail store or a similar luxury jewelry brand name store, as one of the locations for our film.

I know that Buenos Aires is called the “Paris” of South America and has amazing luxury shopping, but are there any other cities that have a similar reputation.

I created a post previously on finding three Latin American locations for our film, and I am still reviewing the fixers, scouts, and locator companies who are interested in being hired. If you responded to that post, then we do have your information that you emailed to us and will be making a decision shortly.

If anyone else would like to read our last post on Latin American locations, here is the link:

Dear Merri, you can find all those luxury shops in Buenos Aires! We were already in contact, but now I’ve seen the post updating your needs, so I will send you an email on that, ok?
Any request, you can find me at bacf@buenosaires.gob.ar, or at josefina.bacf@gmail.com

    Happy 2014!

Hello Merri, I recommend you to consider Punta del Este (Uruguay). Sent you an Email.
