  • Hi,

I have a US TV crew traveling to France to film for 2 days. We have a Carnet. Do we need to get work visas for our short stay?

Our company is entirely US funded, and its for a US history based show.

    any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi !

in fact, you will need work permit, not visas.
I know someone who can take care of this for you, he’s in Paris.
You can email him: (Fred Millet: fmilletprod@gmail.com) with your demand.

    Regards, m.

    Hi,
As mentionned, you just need a work permit for 2 days working in France, and, depending of your locations, some autorisations to shoot.

    Hello Maura,
I would suggest that you contact your local French Consulate in the US. They will tell you exactly what you need and the procedure to follow.
Click on the link below to find the Consulate that deals with your state:

If you need any help organizing your shoot in France, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I work as a Freelance Fixer/Production Manager in Paris.
    Best regards,
