If you’re looking for a dense jungle, sounds like Sumatera or Kalimantan which has several provinces. Driving from the airport in provincial capital city will be approximately 2-4 hours. But normally we can get accommodation in the nearer town.
Basically fly to Jakarta first, then fly again to the destination of province in Sumatera or Kalimantan.
If you are just looking for “a tropical jungle” look, you may get it in West Java. Still a long drive from Jakarta BUT there will be accommodation within one hour range of the location.
Line Producer, crew no problem. Indonesia TVC crew normally has experience with international director or DoP including Hollywood feature film since mid-1990’s.
We have plenty of equipment too, up to the latest Alexa era.
But first of all, keep in mind about the working permit process. It can take about 1 month time. Production permit normally just use the local company production permit because they’re the one that has the contacts and network within the country… like in any other country around the world.
