    Hi colleagues!
Can anyone tell me what the going rates are for fixers in NYC? We are looking to shoot a short corporate video in NYC in April (4-5 days shoot) and might need some help on locations, getting around and permits. But first of all I need to know what the rates typically are.

You are welcome to contact me and my producer-colleague on the below mail address if you have any questions.

    Cheers,
    Mille and Mikael

    Hi Millie and Mikael,

I work as a freelance Production Manager or “Fixer” here in NYC.
Depending on the scope of your project normal rates for a Prod. Mgr in NYC range from $500 to $700 pr/dy.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions or are looking to hire someone for your project.

I have attached my resume for your review.

    Good luck!
    Regards,

    Marc Sidel

    Dear Millie and Mikael

We have several assistants who can work as fixers in the greater NY area. We also have an extensive library of locations in the area .
Please let me know if we can be of further assistance .
The day rates depend on hours and how complicated the job is but are generally $500-$650 day

    Hi Mille & Mikael,

Thank you for reaching out! RFI has a deep bench of skilled freelancers and great NYC locations. I have a few questions about your project and a few links to share with some recent work that I will send in an email.

Rates for an experienced NYC fixer usually fall between $550 – $750 depending on how complicated the shoot. New York City is a VERY film friendly city, but you need to have someone with experience to help you make the most effective decisions regarding schedule and budget.

    Speak soon,
    Scott

    Hi Millie/Mikael,

I have a locations company in New York City – http://www.properlocations.com – and frequently provide production services for overseas corporate video also. For a fixer, depending on what help you need, it would be between $500 – $800 per day. As I have an extensive library of locations in New York and the Tri-State area, I am able to tie in locations and services as a package.

    My direct email is michele@properproduction.com

    Best,
    Michele
