having produced a few commercials I have never produced any Airline commercial. However, I have produced various documentaries as well as instructive films on airplane subjects, amongst them a film about an Airbus aircraft for Lufthansa.
As You are coming to Hamburg to shoot a commercial involving an aircraft, I assume it will most likely be about one of the new A – 380 planes to be shot at the Airbus factory’s own airfield on the opposite bank of the Elbe river passing through Hamburg.
As solely the Director/DOP and his camera assistant will be coming to Hamburg – to further help You, I would need additional information about the production. What are Your requirements regarding the crew and the technical equipment wanted, and for how many days do You intend to be shooting in Hamburg? For how many days prior to the shooting will the Director arrive in Hamburg ? Will Your two crew mambers stay in a hotel close to the Airbus plant or somewhere else in Hamburg? How many hours working days do You plan for? Is there a treatment or storyboard You could let me have? Do You have an official “OK” for the shooting from Airbus?
