  • Hello, I’m looking for a location to shoot ideally something similar to the Hotel de Glace in Quebec, CA ( http://www.hoteldeglace-canada.com/index.php ), where I can find snow, an ice Bar and substantial cold weather in mid September. We need to shoot a big party, so a place with production structure to build a party would be great.

My challenge finding this place is that it has to have long nights or even 24 hours nights during the actual Winter period as a fact.

Attached are some photos as reference of the ideal location.

    Thanks a lot,
    Juliana

    Hello Juliana,

Please take a look at this snow castle location from The Location Guide’s location listing under category ‘ film friendly locations ‘.

We would love to hear about any other locations that you come across that you feel should also be listed on our film friendly locations database.

    Goodluck and best wishes,

    Murray

Did you find a location,we had snow a couple weeks ago 100 miles south on the Dempster Highway, NT. We will have all the ice and snow that you need in a couple of weeks to build anything you want.
