Looking for a faded grandeur, space with few windows which are the important aspects. As an added bonus, it would be great to have a corridor so we can film that scene as well. Think of rustic, raw interior walls, Chateaux, Barn, empty large hanger, need need starkness or even an underground chamber. An old disused Church….

The budget is very tight and we would heavily credit and gladly cross promote this location, we would be gratefully eternal if it were free as well but appreciate this would be asking too much.

The film will be shot in a film noir style. We’re going to be playing with lighting hence avoiding too many windows.

    Many thanks – Maz

    Hi Maz
being realistic as to budget and locations is a sign of an intelligent Producer / Director,
Why would any location owner want to to give you a location for a credit????
and what sort of “cross promotion” would this be?
Have you tried the location libraries?

    Hi Mick

Thank you for your reply…. there are people out there that do.

I would never put an advert out there without mentioning this. Even though the budget is very small, depending on the location we could push to pay for the right one.

I am a very good producer and I have been in the industry for a good few years, I have my sources but I would never rely on one source ie libraries.

Thank you for your input Mick, it is so very nice to know that there is somebody who has an answer.

    Regards – Maz
