    We need a fixer/translator with local knowledge to assist a commercial shoot in Djibouti City and rural Djibouti from 4th to 11th April.

    Services we need are:

    Visa advice
    Translator
    Location fixing & logistics
    Permits
    Transport (2 x Landcruisers & drivers)
    Meals for 7 crew

    Les journalistes ou équipes de tournage qui souhaitent se rendre à Djibouti devront adresser une demande d’accréditation à la Direction de la Communication du Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication, chargé des Postes et Télécommunications (MCCPT). Cette demande, sous forme libre, devra préciser :
    La durée prévue du séjour
    Les objectifs de la mission
    Les membres de l’équipe, avec noms/ prénoms
    Le matériel
    La présentation du média pour lequel travaille(nt) le/les journaliste(s)

    Il faudra aussi joindre une copie de la carte de presse et du passeport.

    Cette demande d’accréditation doit être adressée à M. Khaled A. Haidar, Directeur de la Communication, MCCPT, par mail kholdinta@hotmail.com ou par fax +253 35 39 57 (Direction de la Communication – MCCPT)

    Les accréditations seront délivrées dans les 48h, leur durée de validité sera fixée en fonction des dates d’arrivée et de départ. Elles seront renvoyées par mail ou récéptionnées par le journaliste à son arrivée à l’aéroport. Attention : Les journalistes sans accréditations ne seront pas autorisés à entrer sur le territoire djiboutien.

    You can call from me (Damien Gayrard from the film “Forces Spéciales”).

    They are able to guide you to have all the accreditation, all the drivers and 4×4 vehicles.
    They also can help you in finding some shooting sets, people for extra crew.
    Nicolas should be the right personn as he knows very well the rural place and habits there. He also speak the Somali and Afar.

    Be careful if you need high electricity power supply there as there is no big electrogen group with no noise !
