  • A house for interior scenes:

The scenes take place in the kitchen, living-room and bathroom. The kitchen is where the majority of the action takes place so it needs to be of a decent size – enough to fit a table at which actors can sit around. The kitchen also needs to be on the ground floor and have a door to the outside. (Whether to a garden or street, it doesn”t matter) The bathroom needs to have a sink, a bath and a mirror, but can be quite small.

The house is going to be where the young survivors of the zombie apocalypse live, so the shabbier the better. The more it is in a state of disrepair, the better.

    A house for exterior scenes:

We”re intending to surround the house with zombies – so we”re looking for somewhere either on a very quiet street (such as a cul-de-sac) or hidden from view from the road in some way. It can be urban, or rural, as long as there are good transport links to ship in a load of zombies. We only need to shoot at the front of the house – and there needs to be room to park a car.

In an ideal world of course, the two locations would be the same, but we can get round this by the magic of film. The locations need to be in the London area, or within easy reach by public transport. I”m envisioning needing the interior location for 3 days, and the exterior for one day.

It”s a low-no budget production, but a small budget is available to pay towards the hire of these locations.

Check out locations J023, J022, J029 and J030 in the “Derelict and Industrial sites” section on http://www.filmhampshire.org.uk. These derelict locations are all within 1 – 2 hours of London by car or public transport.

For any other queries reagrding filming in Hampshire please contact me at info@filmhamsphire.org.uk.

    Many thanks,
