Looking for “Smart House” Locations

The Client is a “Smart House” technology group in Europe. We need houses that have all the modern technology – Temp Control, electronic Garden irrigation, surveillance cameras, automatic doors, automatic blinds or curtains etc. It would be great to have an entertainment centre that is revealed by electronic panels that open or flat screen TV’s that rise up out of the floor etc

We are looking for modern architecture, that doesn‘t seem too detached. Modern but still welcoming and authentic. Big rooms and surfaces as well as windows will make sure there is plenty of light and give everything a tidy look, rather than feeling cluttered. This setup will help the family in their acting as well as serve as a good backdrop for them. It should be approachable but still be high class enough to rouse a desire in us and our target group.

Also the interiors need to be modern with top quality modern appliances.

Ideally we need a very modern building in a natural setting (Forrest backdrop) etc We also need loads of sunshine and green grass in October.

When I first read your brief, I thought it might be a friend winding me up because the spec is so utterly our house it’s weird. It has been described as the most “future proofed” (aka Smart) house in East Sussex! It is a modernist style, single storey house set in woodland. It is completely CAT 5’ed.
