    Hi all,

We need a Director and a DOP (Director+DOP preferred) for a travel documentary to be shot in an exotic beach location in India. The person should be willing to travel to India and shoot for an extended period of time (8 to 12 weeks). Prior experience in travel/tourism oriented projects would be preferable.

For further details please do get in touch with me via email on — deepak[at]lighthousemumbai.com.

    Hi Stuart,

The project is scheduled to start tentatively in a few weeks, in early pre-production now so only have tentative dates. Format would be HDV or Digital Betacam.

We are also open to Production companies in the region with in-house Directors/DOPs open to collaborating on the shoot. Should be experienced in areal and underwater shooting.

    Hi Deepak,

I am a documentary director and cameraman. I directed and shot a documentary for over 4 years in an Oasis in Egypt and have been filming for over 20 years various documentaries and projects around the world. I am a member of BAFTA and have travelled extensively, including India, a country which I love very much indeed. My web site will show you some of the projects although I have not updated it for such a long time, so please excuse this. I am very interested and I would be grateful for some more information. Thank you. Best wishes,

    Hello Deepak,

Like others, I too received the info via Murray Ashton, and would be delighted to be considered for your project.

My website: http://www.peter-claridge.com will give you all the detailed background you might need.

I have just completed a 90 mins primetime Doco-drama for ZDF (Germany) that will be transmitted on 14th June. (Attached image).

Of course I also have several DOP’s that I can recommend… and finally I was in Mumbai and Trivandrum only a few months ago for CGI and visual effects for my previous project, and very much enjoyed my time there!

I look forward to hopefully hearing from you.

    Kind regards,

    Peter

    Hi Deepak,

I’m an award-winning documentary Producer/Director and would love to work with you on this project.

My previous work includes Channel 4’s ‘The Last Freak Show’ which tells the story of Jeffrey Marshall, a musician born without arms or legs, who decided to explore his identity as a disabled performer by becoming the star attraction in the last remaining freak show in America.

    You can watch it here:

My other recent projects include ‘Rude Tube’, a six part series currently showing on Channel 4, and ‘Andira’, a documentary exploring the work of Andira International in the rainforest of Costa Rica (currently in the edit). You can see an introductory promo I made for them here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkkz-hRqKQM

I’m a highly skilled self-shooter with my own kit if required (Z1 with full audio) as well as a highly skilled editor on Final Cut Pro. I have a proven track record of tracking down and securing diverse and difficult contributors and can get the most out of even the most difficult interview situations.

Alongside my broadcast work I have extensive experience in corporate documentary, making films for people such as The Anthony Nolan Trust. You can see a selection of the films I made for them here:

I am hugely passionate about documentary and would love to work with you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi!

I’ve been twice shooting in India. My natural surroundings of work are the documentaries, docuseries and reports. I always have worked in these sorts that,I believe, are one of the best expressions to show what happens in the real life. My purpose is essentially, to explain stories of people through the camera, to show the world’s idiosyncrasy and anyway to understand LIFE, with its conflicts and virtues.
I’ve been shooting in more than fourty countries, mainly in poor areas. I work great under pressure and have good organization and comunication skills. I am well accustomed to working as a one man band. Field production, sound and editing.
At the beginning of my career, I alternated works as sound mixer and videographer. In the last years, I’ve been dedicating myself exclusively to the camera and to Documentaries’ direction. HD specialist.
Fluent English, Italian & French speaking. Understand Portuguese perfectly. My native lenguage is Catalan & Spanish. I’m based in Barcelona, but ready to work arround the world.

    hello,
not sure if you have found anyone as yet, but I would love to direct and DOP for the travel documentary. Having got twenty years of travel and documenting the most amazing places including my journey living with the Maasai I know that I can provide you with what you require. I have also directed for Trouble TV, and many small independent documentaries covering food festivals, to religious celemonies to wonderful cultures. I will request further details should I not be too late!
    Warm regards,
    beth newbery
