    I need help from a production company that possibly covers or has links in South Africa, Angola, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Chad, Niger,Namibia, Senegal,Algeria,Mali,Sudan,Uganda,Tanzania,Ethiopia, Benin & Madagascar I need help establishing the costs of shooting in these countries. e.g travel, permits, living, translators.
    Once contacted I will provide a more detailed brief of what I need in each country.

    At Sengal Fixers, we are a production support company based in Senegal that helps TV’s, filmakers and production companies for their shooting project in the country.

    Our experience in this part of West Africa is demostrated by our list of big boys we had worked with: BBC, CNN, Travel Channel, Amnesty International, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Petitte Meller, several production companies, etc..

    In regard to your question, Senegal is a permit and ATA carnet country. Short film permit cost:$255, length film:$1015

    Most of the time, portraits would ask for a reasonable appareance fees that we can always bargain.

    Some private locations may also ask for fee.

    Hotels are not expensive and I have a couple of ones that I work with because they are production friendly and can be flexible due production requirements.

    Transport is as anywhere else when it comes to price but fixer will help chose good cars as he is the one who is on the ground.

    Local crew will depend on what you want, from PAs, ACs, Security, Sound recordist, Drivers, etc..
