  • Hello,

For a fashion photo / video shoot to take place at the end of october, we are looking for:
an empty, small vintage fairground in an open space (desert, field) or any desolate environment. The fairground can’t be too trashed and beat up so abandoned ones are to disregard.

Can be anywhere in the US but has to be some place warm at this time of the year and not too far from a big city in order to facilitate logistics.

Can be a temporary or a permanent one –
It can also be a pier, as long as it has a retro feeling and it’s closed at the time of the shoot (or at least not too crowded)

If you think you have anything of interest, please hit me back at simon@brachfeld-ny.com
We will ask for complete scout for any proposal worth checking.

    Thanks!

    Simon

    Hi Simon,

Belmont Park in San Diego might be worth checking out, rides are closed couple of days each week in Oct. But finding such a park in an isolated setting is a tall order. Another approach might be to contact small carnival operators that might do a limited set up at a location of your choosing, most of them are closed in Oct anyway so they might welcome the opportunity.

    Hi,
There are 3 carousels in the greater Phoenix area.
All are operating. Also there is a carnival rental company called Browns that has a Ferris wheel you can rent and place anywhere in in the raw desert.
That might your best creatively as you could place it in the baron landscape amongst saguaros and other Cacti.
    Best regards,
    David
