    We are looking for some info or advice about shooting on an Oil Rig or Oil Platform in the UK or Norway for a fashion shoot.

    Hi Michelle,

    I did some research about filming in a Sea oil rig years ago, although we didn’t shoot there finally. I got some feedback from Scotland, India and Mexico. It was a complex location with lots of safety restrictions and logistics limitations. In that research the best option we were handling was in Scotland ( Cromarty Firth?). Maybe the Scotish Film office can provide to you updated information about filming in an Oil Rig.

    Hi,

    I can help you organize a shoot on an oil rig in Norway. We even have “oil rigs” on land in Norway for training purposes.

    Hello Michelle. You can shoot on the platform in the Baltic Sea, close to UK or Norway and the look is compare to North Sea :). I’m after unofficial talks and shooting there is possible. I have the experience in difficult industry’s locations shoots, like steel works etc., so i hope i know how to talk to these people. See attached image – it is our Baltic platform :).
