Shooting in Ukraine

Is it safe to shoot in Ukraine now? Specifically Odessa and Kiev? Also, are there some resources that could help with pre production, including location scouting and hiring crew?

It’s absolutely safe to film in both Kyiv and Odessa. We have finished several service jobs in both cities during the last few months.

Hi Paul!

Most of our country is still living it’s normal life, except for few regions in the East that are bordering with Russia, but these places are more than 500km away from here. So both Kiev and Odessa are safe and you shouldn’t have any worries about shooting here.

Most of the crew members and tech. equipment are based in Kiev but can be easily brought to Odessa as well.

In addition to all said above I should say that there are 40 countries in the world with hybrid military conflicts. Israel for instance. So Kyiv and Odessa go about their normal lives.
