At the end of October/beginning of November we usually have snow in Kiruna which is situated in the north part of Sweden.

    Dear Barbara

We have easily accessible locations with snow, ski slopes and more in the end of October.

Western Norway is famous for its glaciers and steep mountains that go all the way down to the fjords.

Please contact me directly for further details.

    Hi Barbara
I’d suggest contacting our northern BC Film Commissioner, Karen Cameron 250-649-3207 cameron@initiativespg.com http://www.initiativespg.com/ipg/film/
They are in the colder part of our province and may have snow earlier.
    cheers

    Dear Barbara
October is between seasons in both the southern and northern hemisphere. Depending on where you are based and your exact requirements, there are plenty of options for glacier skiing at this time & high altitude rivers that may be partially frozen; for the snowy city street your best bet would be North America – BC, Yukon, Alaska, but this may provide a (no-surprise) American feeling town rather than generic European city.
If you would like to send further script information, we can provide some location suggestions.
    Kind regards,
    Kim Belcham
