  • Dear Friends,

We have quite an unusual request – we need to find real snow in September for a car shoot.
Can anyone assist on this? Would be very grateful!

Thank you very much in advance,
    Katya

    Hi Katya
Argentina has the right weather to offer snow during September, actually last year in that month we shot with snow in the mountains.
Let me know your thoughts and I will be glad to send you more location references.

    Hi Katya,

In Septemeber, we should still have snow in Chile and Argentina, where we have offices and permanent crew. The beginning of the month would be better.
What type of locations are you looking for ?

    All the best,
    Rémi

    Hi Katya,

You’ve made a good choice in considering New Zealand as your filming destination.
September is right in the middle of our snow season and many productions travel to Queenstown for their winter car shoots and testing due to the accessibility and range of locations within a short distance. Queenstown is also a wonderful place to base your production due to great production services, an international airport and amazing hotels and restaurants.

I’ve loaded a few images onto a dropbox link for you.

I’d be very happy to discuss your project in more detail if you would be interested in following Queenstown New Zealand up as an filming location.
We look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards
