  • Hi,
Currently looking for a warship that could pass as one that’s in current service.

We’ll need internal and external shots.

Any ideas? I’ll be researching more thoroughly next week, but thought someone on here might have a lead.

    Cheers,

Hello Tom, could you please provide your contact details? Might have a lead. Best, Markus

    Hello,

We shot on HMS Invincible in Portsmouth in 2006. It is an aircraft carrier, however I don´t know if it is still available. The navy let us shoot inside, outside and on the dock. They were INCREDIBLY helpful and solved more problems than they created. I would strongly suggest you contact them to see if they have what you are looking for. There were very cheap hotels 5 min from the base where I put up my crew, they let me bring in my caterers and it all worked out really well.

Looking at my old callsheet, this is all I have for a contact…
HMS INVINCIBLE, HM NAVAL BASE, UNICORN GATE, UNICORN ROAD, OFF MARKET WAY, PORTSMOUTH PO1 3AQ

    Good luck!
