    To be able to deduct sales taxes and vat you do need a production service company and same thing goes with permits. But if you are prepared to pay the 25% extra go with a fixer.

    Salmonfox is the best company in the region http://www.salmonfox.com. I use them all the time. Frilance Fixers and line producers are hard to find as most people have a company

    Dear Tanya, I’m shooting in the arctic region of Scandinavia next week, In Finland and in Sweden but we will have 3h of sunlight, and that sunlight is is quite low.

    In December the region all turns dark, no sun at all, but your welcome back in late february

    The arctic region starts 2-3h driving above the polar circle. South of that its all woods and looks like any winter landscape in Europe.

    I have worked in Zermat with Ady and Ashley from Mountainfilms and they where absolutely great. Really experienced in production, hard working and they speak english. And they are of course excellent skiers. (Much better than me)
