    This may be too late but there was a great programme called ” Somalie l’asaut des pirates ” part of a programme called Envoyé Spéciale on french TV last night ( 12 February 2009 ). They actally spent time interviewing the pirates onthe boat along with all the firearms etc…
    The local contacts name was Yussuff. They also got some good footage from the Somali Broadcasting Corporation.
    Aden port capitainerie was also a good source. Hope that helps.
