Imagenation makes first investment
Abu Dhabi's film division Imagenation and partner National Geographic Entertainment have announced the first recipient from their USD100 million film fund.
They will be making a substantial equity investment in Peter Weir's The Way Back. The partnership plans to invest in up to 15 films over the next five years. Imagenation has been given a total of USD1 billion by Abu Dhabi's government to invest in the film industry with a number of partenrs.
