Japan to launch central film commission
The deputy director of Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Yasushi Nozawa, has revealed further details about the planned Japan Film Commission.
Speaking at Pusan's Asia-Pacific Film Policy Forum, he stated that the new commission will be officially launched in April 2009.
The Japan Film Commission will act as a central body to unite over 100 regional commissions that already exist.
