A newly commissioned drama series from the BBC, entitled Come Home, will be filmed in locations throughout Northern Ireland later this year. Red Production Company, whose recent credits include Last Tango in Halifax and The Five, are behind the series.
Czech creative agency Mandrake and its US production partner Rogue Agent have produced a new film showcasing the relief work being done in Haiti by J/P HRO. The organisation was founded by actor Sean Penn and is supported by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ Jeep brand.

Pirate drama Black Sails filmed on location at Cape Town Film Studios in South Africa, doubling the region for the Bahamas. Set in 1720, the series is pitched as a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic pirate novel Treasure Island and follows the adventures of Captain Flint.
Two new studios will be built in the Titanic Quarter of Belfast in Northern Ireland in a GBP14 million development project. Titanic Studios currently includes the city’s Paint Hall studio and is home to HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones.
