Kudos is filming historical TV drama Troy – Fall Of A City for the BBC’s autumn schedule. The production is just the latest ancient-world series commissioned by the BBC following the likes of biblical drama The Ark, which filmed in Morocco.
A second series of the BBC’s period drama Poldark is filming at The Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol in the west of England. The new series is set in 1790 and follows Ross Poldark’s attempts to save his tin mine and escape the hangman’s noose as he’s accused of inciting revolution.

American firm Fox 21 Television Studios has finalised a deal for a long-term lease of Dragon International Film Studios in Wales. Fox is already filming TV show The Bastard Executioner at the facility. Historical feature Ironclad is the only feature to have ever shot there.
