The Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage has agreed to implement a cash rebate programme to stimulate Poland’s audiovisual industry. Stemming from a fund of EUR22 million, the 25% cash rebate will be available later this year.
Avengers: Infinity War, the third instalment in the successful Marvel crossover series will be filmed in Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Highlands. Principal photography will commence on February 28th, taking up residence for a total of six months and investing around GBP10 million into the local economy.

Pentland Studio, a proposed filming facility in Scotland has suffered a setback after the Midlothian Council, responsible for the desired land in Crieff, has been unable to reach an agreement on planning permission. Estimated to cost GBP230 million, the new 10,000 acre studio would be the first of its kind in Scotland, which currently lacks official sound stages.
