The reboot of the iconic 1980s American television show Baywatch has begun filming on location in Miami Beach, Florida. While the original series made stars of both David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, the upcoming film will feature the established talent of Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, with Seth Gordon directing.
New supernatural TV drama series Dominion is to start filming on location in South Africa. Based on the 2010 sci-fi horror Legion, the series will be set in a dystopian city – formerly Las Vegas – and chart a conflict between warring angels.
New rescue drama SAF3 (pronounced ‘Safe’) is filming on location in Cape Town, doubling the South African city for California. The drama focuses on an elite unit of Malibu’s fire department that encompasses specialists in sea, air and fire rescues.
