As part of a co-production between Trigger Happy and LS Productions, based in Germany and Scotland respectively, these companies took to the Isle of Skye to film a brand new commercial for the travel search engine KAYAK.
Inverness in north-eastern Scotland could become the filming location for planned TV crime drama Here Comes the Night. The production is in development at Young Films, responsible for TV series Bannan, the first Gaelic-language TV show in almost 20 years.
Plate shots for the ‘Giant’s Land’ of Steven Spielberg’s film of Roald Dahl’s The BFG have been shot on the Isle of Skye in western Scotland. Skye is becoming more popular as a filming location and will appear in Justin Kurzel’s adaptation of Macbeth, starring Michael Fassbender.
Steven Spielberg has added the city of Wroclaw in south-west Poland to his list of filming locations for his new Cold War spy drama. Now called St. James Place, the movie stars Tom Hanks and is shooting mainly in New York and at Studio Babelsberg in Berlin.
