Oscar-winner Adrien Brody has started filming the historical feature Emperor on location near Prague. The Czech Republic is currently a popular place for period dramas, with the BBC also working in the region for a new series of The Musketeers.
Part of the Casablanca-Agadir highway has been closed by Morocco’s National Highway Company to accommodate filming for Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible 5. The closure will last until the end of next week and the production is also expected to shoot elsewhere in the country.

Historical drama Clavius will film partly on location in Malta with British actors Joseph Fiennes and Tom Felton. Set in the early 1st Century AD, the story follows an agnostic Roman Centurion who sets out to locate the body of Jesus of Nazareth as he looks into rumours of a risen Messiah.
Crime drama Crossing Lines has used Prague as a production base, doubling the Czech city for locations across Europe. The story follows a fictional crime unit within the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague in the Netherlands, which specialises in solving cross-border cases.
Australian actor Sam Worthington, star of James Cameron’s Avatar, is set to film new feature Hunter’s Prayer on location in Hungary and in Yorkshire, in north-east England. The movie will tell the story of a lone assassin protecting a small girl as they're pursued across Europe.
A second series of Channel 4’s comedy series The Mimic filmed on location at The Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol. The show follows the everyday trials and tribulations of a maintenance man who happens to be a gifted mimic.
