MADAM descends upon London landmarks for upcoming German commercial

UK based Production Service Company MADAM alongside German Advertising Agency Panama Werbeagentur, descended upon a number of iconic London landmarks to film a new commercial for the German company, Sparkssenverband Hessen Thüringen. The locations in question included Trafalgar Square, the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building, Tower Bridge and Cleveland Row.

Iceland could see an improved film incentive programme if a government proposal proves successful. The proposal in question seeks to increase the current 20% rebate to 25%, making the incentive far more competitive on the global filming market. To be put into law, the proposal will have to be approved at two separate debates but has already been successful in the first round.

After receiving three Academy Awards and three Golden Globes, The Revenant’s incredibly successful awards period continued this weekend at the Location Managers Guild International Awards, taking home the award for Outstanding Locations in a Period Film. Portions of the film were shot on location in Alberta, Canada but the production later moved to Tierra del Fuego in search of more snow.
