Film incentive rebate launches in Switzerland

Switzerland has launched a new film incentive programme for co-productions that shoot on location in the country. Entitled the Switzerland Film Investment Refund (PICS), the scheme allows co-productions to claim back between 20% and 40% on all eligible local expenditures, with a per-project cap of CHF600,000.

London based Production Company/Advertising Agency Just So have shot their latest commercial for Audermans Piguet on the Coral Gables golf course in Miami. The commercial brings together a number of high-profile Golfers including Darren Clark and Ian Poulter to create the ultimate dream team, as they showcase their skills on an empty golf course after hours.

The upcoming BBC drama series, To Walk Invisible: The Brontë Sisters will film on location in Yorkshire from the beginning of May. To Walk Invisible will depict the lives of the world renowned Brontë sisters, who between them have written some of the most influential pieces of English literature in history including Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and Agnes Grey.

The continuation of BBC’s The Hollow Crown series entitled, The Hollow Crown: The War of the Roses was filmed on location in multiple areas throughout the UK. The production travelled to Wells Cathedral (Somerset), Ashridge Estate (Hertfordshire), Haddon Hall (Bakewell), Gloucester Cathedral (Gloucester), Berkeley Castle (Berkeley), The Great Hall (Winchester) and Alnwick Castle (Northumberland).
