Location Bonus launched in Flanders
The Location Flanders film commission has launched a new scheme enabling productions that choose to shoot in Flanders in Belgium access to up to EUR2,500 to cover the cost of a location scout.
The scheme covers the cost of a professional location manager or scout and productions will be eligible if they have sourced more than 80% of their budget and have taken on their key personnel.
Location Flanders covers cities including Bruges, Antwerp, Ostend and Ghent and projects filming in these locations will be among those to be prioritised if the new scheme proves very popular.
