Film France recently boosted France’s Tax Rebate for International Productions (TRIP). The TRIP has now increased from 20% to 30%. In accordance with the change, the per-production cap will rise dramatically from EUR20 million to EUR30 million.
The increased filming incentive has helped to boost France's appeal, snagging huge western projects such as Dunkirk and Wonder Woman.
France and Lithuania have signed a co-production filming agreement, the first such deal for Lithuania.
Shoots organised under the terms of the deal will qualify for national filming incentives in each country.
Film France supports productions filming throughout the country and helps connect international producers with the 40 local film commissions.
The location was beautiful and the weather was stunning. We were very fortunate for the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc to allow us to use the hotel as a location and even more fortunate to be able to roll out of bed and straight onto set – not something we’re used to!
