1st Franco-Egyptian Screenwriting Workshop aims to boost international creative potential
The 1st Franco-Egyptian Screenwriting Workshop has been developed by the Ile de France Film Commission and the Good News Group in Egypt in a bid to foster new creative ties between the two countries.
Eight professional screenwriters will be brought together by the initiative - four from France and four from Egypt - and announced at the Cannes Film Festival later this year. Work sessions will take place in Paris in June and in Cairo in December.
The intention is that the initiative will lead to new projects that will have an appeal throughout the global audio-visual industry.
