Global ad spending increase in 2010 could surpass previous predictions
Increases in global advertising spending for 2010 was predicted at 2.2% earlier this year, but the figure could actually be as high as 3.5%, according to media services company ZenithOptimedia.
North America could see the most dramatic regional turnaround with a previously forecast 1.5% decline being revised to growth of 1.3%.
Despite the revised predictions, however, the figures still add up to a less dramatic recovery by 2012 as has been experienced after previous downturns.
