Craften Amsterdam conference to analyse European commercial campaigns

The Craften Amsterdam conference will analyse a showcase of European commercial campaigns before a select audience in the Dutch city. Organised by Francisco Condorelli of the Ciclope International Advertising Craft Festival, Craften will take place on 24 and 25 April 2013.

Ciclope has celebrated the craft of commercial production in Buenos Aires each November since 2010 and Craften will have a similar function for the European market. One of the key differences is that the Amsterdam event will not give out awards, but will focus instead on networking and panel discussions.

Francisco Condorelli is Chief Executive Officer at the Ciclope Festival, as well as organiser of Craften Amsterdam: “Due to popular demand, we decided to bring the spirit of Ciclope and part of its content to Europe, a region that today – more than ever – needs to talk and learn because this crisis will bring new opportunities for the industry.”

Commercials to be discussed in April will include The Guardian’s Three Little Pigs campaign, Virgin Atlantic’s Still Hot After 25 Years and the Adidas Collider campaign.

Speakers will include Rattling Stick’s Head of Production Chris Harrison, W&K Amsterdam’s Head of Broadcast Production Erik Verheijen and BBH London’s Managing Director and Head of Film Davud Karbassioun.

Delegates are welcome to apply for tickets from outside Europe, but only European campaigns will be showcased.
