Jumbo A films scooter adventure on location in Paris for Thai Yamaha Motor
Thai production house Jumbo A filmed a scooter adventure on location in Paris in a new commercial spot for Yamaha Thailand. The shoot was serviced by Camino Media and its local partner.
Camino Media faced a challenge when it was revealed at the last-minute that the Thai celebrities who were to ride the Yamaha scooters through the streets of Paris didn’t have the right road licences. In an additional creative move, the scooters themselves also needed to have custom number plates. International Motor Insurance ‘Green’ Cards had to be quickly processed for the scooter prototypes, to make sure they could be ridden through the city with the desired look.
“Regulations are more relaxed in Bangkok,” explains Jumbo A producer Jakrapon ‘Neng’ Chawalitkulaboot: “The strict requirements in Paris took us by surprise. Fortunately, Camino Media proposed and put into action solutions our director could work with.”
“I’ve compared production service quotes, like any producer, but I trust Michael and his team to get the most production quality for our budget,” Neng adds: “It’s been great working side-by-side with his line producers, no matter where a shoot takes me in Europe.”

It would be interesting to add that the local partner in Paris was a company called Froggie Production, and that Eric Chabassier organized all shooting permits, etc.
