Ciclope International Festival of Craft 2015 announces guest list
The Ciclope International Festival of Craft 2015 has announced its guest list for this year’s event, which takes place in Berlin on 5 and 6 November. Ciclope recognises the craft of storytelling in international audiovisual production and The Location Guide is a media partner of the event.
Confirmed guests this year comprise a vast list of individuals from agencies and production companies around the world, including Furlined, Park Pictures, DDBO, Heimat, Lola Madrid, Stink, Iconoclast, Dentsu, Framestore and Fallon.
“It’s really exciting to have such great people joining us each year,” says Francisco Condorelli, Ciclope’s founder and director: “In any case, I hope we can keep this show as small as we always wanted it to be.”
One of the highlights of this year’s festival will be The Room, a curated exhibition exploring developments in virtual reality (VR) and immersive experiences.
“VR storytelling is definitely taking off, but there is so much ground to explore, so many companies trying to expand the boundaries of this technology, that we thought it was necessary to offer a platform like this,” adds Condorelli.
The festival’s Market will be a networking event sponsored by Mamma Team, while separate networking and business meeting opportunities will be available through the Fresh Market and the Service Market.
