Australian pop duo films music video on location in southern New Zealand
An Australian pop duo has filmed a music video on location in southern New Zealand. Max Donovan and Bianca Oechsle – who perform as Max & Bianca – shot on location at Larnach Castle in Dunedin.
''I have shot in the South Island about five times before and I heard about Larnach Castle, so came to investigate and it's just perfect for what we wanted,” director Benn Jae told the Otago Daily Times: “We are basically using every corner of the castle, inside and out. Dunedin has amazing architecture. There are so many vastly different buildings that you can make it look like anything.”
Dunedin is the second city of New Zealand’s South Island and its design was strongly influenced by Edinburgh’s architecture. Larnach Castle was completed in 1887 and is the only building of its sort in New Zealand.
