European Film Commissions Network renews board of directors
The Filming Europe - European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN) has renewed its board of directors at its general assembly in Turin. The EUFCN is a non-profit organisation that supports the European film industry and its members include film commissions from nearly 30 different countries.
Truls Kontny of Film Commission Norway has been elected the new President of the organisation, taking over from Arie Bohrer. Mikael Svensson, of the Oresund Film Commission, is the new Vice-President.
“I would like to take this opportunity to once again say thank you to the former President Mr Arie Bohrer, for all the efforts and work he and his board have done from the founding of the network and up to today,” said Kontny.
“We will continue the work with rising the awareness of our organization and what we can offer. We want to collaborate with the other European film organisations for the best of the audiovisual industry in Europe.”
