Poland’s ambassador to India calls for more Bollywood movies to film Poland

The Polish Ambassador to India has called on Bollywood to film more projects in Poland to strengthen production ties. A co-production agreement is being worked on, as Poland is eager to sell its crews’ international experience while benefitting from the film tourism Bollywood can deliver.

Polish Ambassador Professor Piotr Klodkowski wants to emulate the success of recent Bollywood feature Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, the Indo-Asian News Service reports. The film shot in Spain and helped boost film tourism in the country due to the film’s massive audience in India.

We hope that there is more co-operation between India and Poland. A lot of agencies from Poland are engaging with India as far as encouraging film shooting in Poland is concerned.

Klodkowski told the outlet: “Both India and Poland share a rich film heritage and we have great technical expertise. We hope that there is more co-operation between India and Poland. A lot of agencies from Poland are engaging with India as far as encouraging film shooting in Poland is concerned.”

Bollywood productions film all over the world to deliver new locations to their audiences and as it’s the biggest film industry in the world the international community recognises the value of co-production agreements.
