RSA Films to shoot new Jaguar campaign on location in Chile with Damian Lewis

Damian Lewis, star of TV show Homeland, will appear in a new campaign for the Jaguar F-TYPE that RSA will film on location in Chile’s Atacama Desert. The actor will play a driver who comes across a mysterious young woman when delivering a Jaguar in the remote desert.

Jaguar is taking the unusual step of sharing details of the production during the shoot. Behind-the-scenes shorts will be released over the next few weeks exploring different departments and how they operate on set. Innovative camera systems, including mobile GoPro units, will help open up the production process.

Kai Lu Hsiung is Managing Director of RSA: “Film sets have traditionally kept viewers out, but through crafted updates and content we will welcome them onto the set in an unprecedented way, from the shoot in early December through to the launch of the film in March.

“We want viewers to see how the process unfolds through our eyes and to be a part of it alongside us.”

Chile is a popular filming location in South America. The Atacama Desert offers dramatic and remote-feeling landscapes, while colonial architecture in the capital Santiago is often used as a double for US cities.
