Sevilla International Locations Expo running November 11th to 13th 2010
Producers and filmmakers from around the world will be gathering in Seville from November 11th 2010 for the Sevilla International Locations Expo (SILE). The event is a leading trade fair that specialises in promoting global filming locations. The Location Guide will be there too.
The event also explores financing and digital convergence in the industry. The SILE organisers said: “Service companies, new technologies, technical industries, Locations Managers, cinema film, advertising film and TV producers and Film Commissions/Offices will all be among those gathering together at SILE 2010.”
This year several winning commercials of the Young Director Award (YDA) - a major event at Cannes Lions - will also be screened at the event on November 12th. The YDA has more than 300 participants and is a great showcase for emerging talent.
