The Location Guide presents FOCUS

For anyone working in the screens industry, attending FOCUS is an absolute necessity for expanding your business on a global scale. Simply put, FOCUS is London’s first international trade show, summit and networking event for film, television and commercials.

FOCUS will be comprised of three main sections:

The Exhibit – 14th December:

This is where the action happens. Organisations from all over the world will come together at the Business Design Centre in Islington for a networking event unlike any other. It is here that companies will have the chance to advertise their expertise to the people in attendance.

The Summit – 15th December:

The Summit will feature a wide variety of talks aimed specifically at producers, senior production executives and creatives from the various screen industries. There will be a number of high profile speakers including Iain Smith OBE (Mad Max: Fury Road Executive Producer), Michael Katz (VP of International Programming and Planning at A&E Networks), and Patrick Collister (Lead Creative at The Zoo at Google).

The Parties – 14th & 15th December:

Following the mantra that the best time to network is over a glass of wine, FOCUS will be hosting four parties for industry professionals to kick back, relax, and discuss business in a casual setting. These parties will include the Location Professionals Group Christmas drinks sponsored by Translux International, and the FOCUS APA Christmas party sponsored by Goodgate Productions.

“FOCUS has been meticulously prepared to ensure that it is a networking event unlike any other, offering an unprecedented amount of contacts from all over the world to engage with” – Jean-Frederic Garcia (Publishing Director at The Location Guide)

With the incredible hype and support that has been building up, FOCUS promises to be an unmissable event for anyone in the screen industry.
